The General Union of Civil Associations and Institutions appeals to civil society entities that have not reconciled their situation to the need to expedite the reconciliation of their situation so that they are not exposed to dissolution.

Yasser Badry Monday 4-4-2022 The General Union of Civil Associations and Institutions appealed to all associations, civil institutions, federations, regional organizations, foreign non-governmental organizations, and all civil work entities whose conditions have not reconciled, to expedite the reconciliation of their conditions so that they become legal entities and are not subject to dissolution. This is on the occasion of the House of Representatives issuing the amendment to Article Two of the issuance articles of the Civil Work Organization Law No. 149 of 2019, which gave a new period to reconcile the situation for civil society associations and institutions and all civil work entities for a period of six months. The Federation explained that the General Federation’s operations room is ready to receive any communications to respond to inquiries and assist in steps to reconcile the situation. The Union appealed to associations, civil institutions and unions in all governorates to quickly provide cash and in-kind assistance to the most needy citizens and provide free services to contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens.
